oom...pah!

The arrival of october is always welcome by the local, especially the beer converts! Last week, we patronised this outlet in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, which is also Vincent's favourite of all time. If you've no idea of what to order in a malaysianised european restaurant and have phobia for gigantic slices of pork chops, try the sausages! Choices of any combination of three sausages would be a safe gastronomic journey. We're also glad that this deli had made the change and give us choices of side dish : mashed potatoes or potato salad.

My favourite moments here involve a tall glass of cafe latte, and warm rays of sunlight from this window in the middle of the air-conditioned deli.

There's beer competitions and lucky draws on every saturday night in conjuction with the octoberfest! The slim glasses are for the ladies, and the huge glass... are meant for the macho male competitors. So what are you waiting for? head down to Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and have fun at this oom-pah! deli. This is not an endorsement program, so i'm not going to give you the name of this shop! But i would love to share, so here's the hint : it's beside a bridal house.
